Canon 350d Autofocus Not Working
In the two horrible lenses I used -- Canon kit lens (it makes for a good body cap) and the 17-85 IS nothing in the entire field of view was in Isn't the BBC being extremely irresponsible in describing how to authenticate an account-related email? The camera tech said auto focus on camera body needs calibrated. Sometimes the lcd display shows "busy", or the autofocus indicator just kept on blinking. Last week I bought a Tamron 28-75 2.8 Lens. But I also had much better results for the past 30 years regarding sharp well focused images with film slr's and medium format cameras. Sorry I can't back this up with a pic at the moment.I think this is a back-focus issue.. Alena, check these links out.

FWIW the outer AF points tend to be less sensitive than the centre point and may be more likely to miss the focus if subject contrast is low. I've recently bought a 350d with the kit 18-55 lens.
The manual is doing good, but when i turn it to autofocus, it just doesn't focus. What you do is call canon and they will send you an email directing you what to do.
