I found that I had over looked a fuse that controls brake stop lights but is never labeled as doing so. Got it unstuck until hazard flashers worked. The brake-lamp portion of the switch will show continuity when the brake pedal is depressed. When we release the brake pedal, it returns to the up-position. In this position, the brake I remember my daughter said the hazard switch got stuck.
But when i changed them they still wouldnt light up.
