It would sometimes require a firm push and sometimes fire normally, but most of the time, the button would bottom out before it would fire. Gear is gear, gotta do wif what you got! I have a s2 is and just had the same problem. Any ideas? 30 people had this problem. Thanks for the post on the S2IS shutter problem. I t hought it was actually exposure related because I didnt have any issues taking photos of bright scenes, it was in dark scenes that the trigger would not fire.That said, Also would not recommend that you do this on a perfectly working camera, as I'm not sure what the power interuptions may do to the camera.
