Im a beginner in photography so I didn't realise this can be an issue. Hopefully it is under warranty.In the USA, Canon has a flat fee of $95 plus tax and shipping to them for a repair.This is about the price for a used one AF works most (about 80%) of the time, but occasionally doesn't.
