Canon Powershot S1 Is Not Working


I tried the restart method as many times as I could but then I resorted to the tapping method. I took 2 photos but they came out black on the viewfinder and also when downloaded on the computer, however I could view previously taken photos on the camera's viewfinder. That is really strange. Okay, CR. check over here

Canon Powershot Black Screen Problem

Lorrie,Your IXUS II (aka SD100) is likely to be experiencing a CCD failure. Hi! My husband's Canon Powershot SD 1000 had the shutter stuck closed.

Unfortunately, some country's websites are poorly designed, and make it very hard to find their advisory (as example, this link may help save some time searching for those living in Australia).For The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. Had the same problem with my A610 and tried this a couple of times and it seems to work. Ccd Image Sensor Failure Tried the TV-mode/long-exposure/battery-door method some 20 times with no success.

Canon Camera Shutter Stuck

I used your fix technique to successfully unfreeze it. What is a "Distorted Image"? Also would not recommend that you do this on a perfectly working camera, as I'm not sure what the power interuptions may do to the camera. this content I had looked for shutter movement as you suggested in your blog and don't see any.
