Jeez, you'd think an expensive camera would last more than 18 months or so! I would remove the battery immediatly as not to short circuit the very fragile circuits inside! Include an image. It worked...awesome!

I tried it 21 times, then I tapped it against a surface. This is why I love the internet. And I mentioned I wanted to be at a place I could recommend Canon products again.The result, a quick followup from Canon. Did manage to get a slight exposure if i held camera right up toa bright light. Sticky shutter is working again on my A610. I had this happen on my is 2s as i dont use it that often. I also put an sd card in it that had some photos on it and it displays the photos fine.

Looks like they go between $125 and $175 depending on condition and accessories. Badly manufactured ( produced in 2002-2004 run ) sensor goes in the camera and starts outputting noise after 1 or 2 years instead of working properly for +- 10 years. This causes now my camera A. Alternative Fix b.
