Canon 10d Flash Not Working
If the flash hot shoe is loose, the flash shoe screws should be tightened. you can normaly get a very thin flat head screw driver in there and release the switch. Feedback. Luckily, I didn't have to go through any changing of the screws. check over here
I appreciate that people are helping me.The switch on the hot-shoe is probably jammed in the down position would be my guess. If it doesn't work, then your switch might not be long enough. Try doing a search in this forum to find how they fixed it. I would guess it is roughly 1.5 inches long (roughly 4 centimeters long). again, the switch should be barely noticeable under the flash plate. i thought my vacations were spoil due t this flash problem .. No great success.
